3K workshop was held in Palong Hall, Bahau on 8 February 2010. The workshop which started at 10 am and ended at 1 pm was attended by 47 people comprising of Malay community and minority of India community. Problems: 1. The price of goods been monopolized in shops and the price of goods keep increasing where the government not able to handle the situation. 2. The sale of sub-standard goods by the sellers from outside ala auction have attract the Palong community. The goods that been auction is electrical appliances.
1. Emphasize on subsidy issue along with explain like sugar price. 2. The best method is to make a complaint to the local legal bodies. Although the action will be taken by the legal system, consumer should play their role by ensuring that the sellers do not take advantage to them. The non-quality goods has no value though it been bought for RM1 only. The consumer have to make sure that the goods that been purcased is a quality good and can be used for some periodic via ‘Buy Malaysian Products'
