3K workshop was held in University Malaya, Petaling Jaya on 17 March 2010. The workshop has started at 9 and ended at 1 pm. The workshop was attended by 90 students.
The speaker emphases on 4 slots which are: • Rights and Roles as Consumer • Mindful Consumption • Financial Management • Complaint Handling Feedback: 1. Taxi drivers who charge at will and refuse to give receipts. 2. Customer service in a company that not connect the line to the desired call instead moved from one department to another until the credit finished equipped. 3. Participants asked the percentage of complaints that have been resolved by National Consumer Complaint Centre (NCCC).
Suggestion from 3K Team : 1. Asked whether the taxi drivers using the meters before getting their taxi service and not to use the taxi that not applying the usage of meter. At the same time, make a complaint to Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (CVLB) and Consumer Complaint Centre (NCCC). 2. Lodge a written complaint to the company and if applicable, visit the premises when making a complaint.
The speaker stressed on the isuue of ‘ ‘polystyrene’ in food packaging. Among the factors to consider are: • Affect the health if used in long term. • Take long period of time to dispose create more burden to our earth. • Not sustainable for the environment.
