A roundtable discussion on food security was held last 06-10-09 in Hotel Singgahsana, Petaling Jaya. The roundtable discussion basically focuses on the issue of food security taking into account all stakeholders concern and comments as well as interests.

A public forum on “The Genetic Engineering of Rice and Other Crops” was held in TNB Sports Complex, Kuala Lumpur on 5th October 2009, The Forum discussed the implication on genetic engineering on rice and other crops.

The 4 hour forum which started at 9 am to 1 pm was attended by 100 people.

The Consumerism Debate between both public and private Higher Education Institution with Teacher’s Training Institution was held on the 18th to 21st June in Universiti Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Batu Pahat Johor. There were 41 teams participating this year from 21 public universities, 15 teacher’s training institutions and 5 colleges.
