Youth Eco Challenge (YEC) Camp was held on the 4th to 6th June, 2009 for the first time by FOMCA. The 3day 2 nights camp was attended by young adolescent aged 13-15. There were 38 participants with 21 boys and 19 girls.  The camp was held in Dusun Eco, Bentong, Pahang.

The objective of the camp was to promote the concept of mindful consumption in youths today. Among the things that were thought to the participants were:  
 
a.    Consumer rights and responsibility
b.    How consumption and finance relate to each other
c.    How to do a budget
d.    How their needs and wants influence consumption patterns and the well being of the environment
e.    Effects of smoking

The modules were very interactive and activity base which incorporated outdoor activities. The participants enjoyed the camp and propose to have another one soon.
